LOVED THIS BOOKSTORE! This is my first time coming here and I gotta say I was totally overwhelmed. Used books, collectable books, new books, DVDs and much much more! Prices are fair for both hardcover and softcover books. The employees were great. They meet u at door and ask if you need help immediately. Sorry to say but goodbye Barnes and Noble.. I'm doing all my book worm shopping here....come spend some $$$ :)

Great place to find books from a wide variety of genres. Good location, lovely atmosphere, and helpful staff. Easily spent an hour in here, could have stayed for days

One of the best collections of any bookstore I have ever been in. The shelves are overflowing, both with tons of copies of popular books and unique ones you’re unlikely to find elsewhere. The store is deceptively huge as well. The used books are all reasonably priced and in good shape. The one downside is there isn’t a store catalogue to search for a particular book but digging is part of the fun and the sections are well categorized. Bonus shoutout to the two kitties that live here!

The whole place is a calm vibe within the wall of great literary treasures. The children's section is just adorable and I love the homie old-school vibe. The smell of old books is soothing and comforting to me. Hard to control me from buying everything. Parking out front and great prices. They also buy books on certain days. Love love loves this store.

I try to visit this store whenever I'm in the Bay area. A very good and extensive selection of books! Highly recommended.

Always a great bookstore, huge variety of used and new books, which is such a rarity these days with all the used bookstores closing. Bookstore cat was very helpful, let me pet them and led me right to the book I was looking for. (This is not a joke, I literally was not expecting the book I was looking for to be in the fantasy/sci-fi section but cat led me to it and there it was).

I spent hours here, had such a great time. They have a wonderful variety of books, very clean space and neat too. Love the extra touch of a cat there! Such a jewel in San Jose!

An incredible visit. The selection is huge and the place is compact with bookshelves everywhere. It's organized very well and their kids literature section is well designed! The shop cat adds to the atmosphere. Looked around for a long while. You can really see the care put into this shop.
